Garrmalang presents Dan Sultan with Darwin Symphony Orchestra Quintet
Arrangements by Netanela Mizrahi

Experience an unforgettable evening with one of Australia’s most acclaimed singer-songwriters, Dan Sultan (Arrernte/Gurindji), as he joins the Darwin Symphony Orchestra Quintet for a powerful, one-night-only celebration during Garrmalang Retrospective.

Known for his soaring vocals, raw emotion, and genre-spanning sound, Sultan will take audiences on a journey from stripped-back solo performances to the driving force of his full live band, culminating in a stunning orchestral collaboration.

In a special creative partnership, acclaimed Darwin-based composer Netanela Mizrahi has crafted five bespoke string arrangements of songs personally selected by Dan for this occasion, offering never-before-heard interpretations of his iconic sound.

Anchored in story, identity, and sonic exploration, this exclusive event is a bold celebration of First Nations artistry, connection, and creative spirit.

Bring your friends and family and kick back on the Forecourt (open from 3-7.30pm) with a refreshing drink. Enjoy live music from some of Darwin’s finest First Nations musicians from 3-7pm.
